Working at Height Advanced Safety Course (WAH - Supervisor)



Eligibility

Open to all supervisors who need to supervise the access and works to be executed on elevated platforms, structures and ladders.

Pre-requisite

Minimum with CIDB Green Card, Medical Certification and holds at least a valid WAH Safety (Level 1) Course.

Course Content

Permit to Work System, Conduct of hazard identification and risk assessment, planning the risk control measures, Job Safety Analysis, Pre-climb checklist, emergency response planning, rigging procedure; management of the fall protection systems, rescue equipments, lifting equipments and PPE.

Course Methodology & Assessment

A more comprehensive approach through the theory, demonstration, group dynamics, written test and practical assessment on elevated structures. There is no validity period in this case.

At Max Safety training centre and practical at an elevated structure with platform.

Working at Height Safety Courses

WAH (Awareness)

To create safety awareness for all levels of management, staff and workers who need to plan and conduct work at height activities.

 
WAH (Basic Safety - Level 1)

It is a competency course for individuals, who have to work at height, within conventional engineered means of access and work-platforms.

 
WAH (Advanced Safety - Level 2)

It is a competency course for individuals, who need to work at height, where the conventional engineered means of access and work-platforms are restricted or absent.

 
WAH (Supervisor)

The course is to enable potential supervisors to plan and supervise the work at height safe work procedure for the work team.

 
WAH (Aerial Rescue)

The course is designed to enable the Emergency Rescue Team (ERT) members to conduct the at-site aerial rescue, that is within the scope of their tasks.
